The story of “Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup ‘or The Big Haunted Rock

The story of “Batu belah batu bertangkup ‘or the big haunted rock was a very famous story in Malay community.  The story was about a very poor husband and wife. The Husband name kantan and the wife name Tanjung. They done weaving matt, catch fish and working at paddy field to support their daily lives. One day. They went to jungle to find some vegetables for dinner; suddenly they heard a very scary loud noise.  Kantan told Tanjung that the sound was came from the Big Haunted rock that his grandfather has told him when he was small. Few years later, they were blessed with two children, a daughter named Melor and boy named Pekan. However, they father passed away when the children still small. This make the Tanjung had to raise the children alone and this make her very stressed. One day the Tanjung went to the river to fishing and she was lucky to catch Tembakul fish. Tanjung was craving for the fish egg. She was very happy. She asked Melor to cook the fish and the egg fish and ask Melor to keep little bit of the egg for her as she went to bathing. After the egg fish was cooked, Melor give half to her brother Pekan and keep half for her mother. Pekan insists to have more egg fish. He keep crying and forcing his sister to give him the egg. Now the egg was finish eaten all by Pekan. Melor find chicken egg to replace the fish egg. Tanjung was so angry when she knew the fish egg already finish. She was so sad and feels that the children not love her. Tanjung without thinking any further she goes out and run to the big haunted rock. She crying and keep asking the big haunted rock eat and swallow her because she cannot eat the fish egg. Melor and Pekan go after they mother and try to stop her, but it was too late when they arrived in front of the cave because Tanjung already been eaten by the haunted rock.  Melor and Pekan was crying until they fell asleep.  Melor and Pekan meet an old women when they stop to rest. The Old women bring them to stay with her. Since then Melor and pekan lives with the old women until they grown up. Melor become beautiful and clever while pekan become hensome and succesful with his chicken fighting  games. The king fall in love with Melor and proposed to her  as his Queen. While Pekan married with a beautiful princess after his chicken beat the king chicken. One day the king saw his Queen look glommy and sad. King wants to know what makes his Queen sad and asked her. Melor told the king that she was sad because she thought of her mother. She told her mother was killed by the big haunted rock. King asks his man to destroy the haunted rock. Since that time they never heard the scary loud noise anymore.

SCRIPT

Once open a time, there is a poor husband and wife lived in the jungle. The Husband called Kantan and the wife is Tanjung. They had done farming, weaving matt; work on paddy field and fishing to make a living. One very fine day, they were looking for some vegetables in the jungle when they heard a Very loud and very scary. Kantan then told Tanjung that the voice actually came from a big haunted rock as his father told him when he was small.

Tanjung: “husband did you hear that noise? That noise very scary. What was that? Where is came from?

Kantan: Oh dear, my father told me, the sound come the the Big haunted rock.

 (Kantan then told Tanjung that the voice actually came from a big haunted rock as his father told him when he was small.)

Few years later Tanjung and Kantan was blessed with two children. The girl named Melor and the boy name Pekan. However Kantan did not make it. He was passed away when his children still small. Tanjung was very sad and lost.

One day Tanjung went to the river to fishing. She was happy when she catches a Tembakul fish as she was craving for the fish egg. Tanjung hurry up goes back home and ask Melor to cook the fish egg. 

Tanjung: “I want to go bath for a while, please take good care of you brother Pekan”.

Melor: “yes Mother”.

After Melor cook the fish egg, she gives half to Pekan and another half she keep for her mother. But Pekan not gets enough. He was forcing his sister to give him more of the fish egg. Eventually all the egg was eaten by Pekan.

Pekan: “I want eat the fish egg! Please sister! Please!

Melor: “but this is left for mother, Pekan.”

Pekan: “I don’t care! I want to eat!”

Melor: “oh no! The egg is finish. Oh my God, what shall I do, mother must be angry. I better cook the chicken egg as replacement”.

Tanjung already came home. She looks happy and ready to eat.  Melor look so pale and she scared her mother will scolded her. She opens the food cover and only saw a chicken egg. She so angry and so sad because cannot eat the fish egg that she craving all this while.

Tanjung: “Melor, where is my fish egg? Did you left it for me as a ask you to do?”

Melor: “Mother, I’m sorry, the fish egg was finish eaten by Pekan. He was forcing me to give him the other half. I told him that was for you, but he didn’t listen. Mother I already cooks the chicken as replacement”.

Tanjung: “how could you do that to me? Don’t you love me? I so upset with you. I better let the haunted rock eat and swallow me.

Tanjung without thinking futher go out and run toward to the Haunted Rock. She was crying and keeps talking to the haunted rock to eat her.

Tanjung: “haunted rock please eats and swallows me. I cannot eat tembakul fish egg. 

Melor and Pekan run after they mother.

Melor: “Mother please don’t go, please forgive us mother, please wait for us mother”. 

Tanjung didn’t care to hear her children yelling, she keeps running toward the haunted rock and finally the rock eats her as her wish. It’s too late for her children to save her from the Haunted Rock. Melor and Pekan crying and call for they mother until they fall as sleep.  The old women approach them.

Nenek Kebayan: Children, what are you doing here?

Melor: we are resting from long journey. Who are you old women?

Nenek Kebayan: Just call me nenek kebayan. You two look tired and hungry come follow me to my house.

Melor and Pekan follow the old women to her tent. She gave them food and water to drink. Since then Melor and Pekan stay with the nenek kebayan.

Few years later, Melor and Pekan had grown up. Melor become beautiful and clever. Pekan becomes handsome and successful with his chicken fighting games.

The king falling in loves with Melor beauty and kindness. He proposed her to become is Queen. Melor was married to the king. Pekan beat the king chicken fighting and the rewards he was married to the princess.

One day, The King saw Melor look very down and sad. The king wonders what make his Queen act like that. The king asks Melor what happen.  Melor told the king what was happen to her mother. The King asks his man to go to the Haunted Rock and destroyed it. Since that day, the loud noise and scary voice from the cave never been heard again.

CAST AWAY 

SYNOPSIS

The movie was about a man who got stranded because the fed-ex plane that they were on had a turbulence and crashed down to the pacific ocean. john survived the crash and hold on to the raft until he was wash by the wave to the nearest island. When he woke up, he watched around him and start to pick up the fed-ex boxes that was wash by the wave to the shore. He start to call for help but no one anwer. He even wrote a HELP sign on the shore so that anyone who is near the island might saw it, but sadly it was washed away by the tides. He manage to open the coconut with a piece of sharp edge rock  that he gotten when smashing a a block of rock to another.  He wasn’t able to drink the sea water because it was too salty. Then he started walk around the island and discover a well hidden cave from the other side of the island. When he reach the top of the hill, he saw a body that was brought by the wave near a huge block of rock. Its was one of the pilot and he was dead. John buried him and took a flashlight  and the shoe from the dead man’s body and buried him and wrote him an epitaph. He try the shoe but it was a little bit tight but he cut the front of the shoe. The next day, he try to escaped the island with the raft that save him but the huge tide pushed him back. When he was washed again and again by the wave,  his right leg got hit on the sharp rock beneath the ocean and he was injured badly. He start to open  all the fed-ex box except for the ones that has angel wings on it. He discover a Wilson ball, tapes, a dress and even a skate. He save all the item for future use. Then he carved a face to the ball and make the ball his companion to talk. After that he start to make fire but at first he got injured badly but for the second time he manage to make fire and was very happy. After that he sleep in the cave that he discovered earlier. 4 years later,  he was very skilful  on catching fish and on other things. He start to make raft and head off to the ocean and he manage to go through the wave. After a few days on the rough ocean, a container ship was passing by and he was saved. When he got back, he was celebrated by the people and soon he search for his lover but he found out that she was married and had 1 kid. He went to see her at her home and she was happy to see him. She told him that she had search him and she had gave up. But at last he forgive him and he went back. the day that he want to send the package that had saved his life, there was no one there but at the end he found the owner of the place but he didn’t notice at first. He suddenly saw the logo on the truck and he knew that was the owner. He walk to the centre of the road and think for awhile, that’s when he know what path he suppose to took. So the moral of the story is that when we still had our life or given a second chance, took the road that you can benefit till the end.

    My favorite food would be ice cream from karamell almondo at the second floor from west atrium at 1Borneo hipermall near the Alamesra. firstly,it's a vanilla bean soft homemade ice cream with a reasonable price from RM2.65 to RM13.00. secondly, it has a varieties of fresh fruit toppings such as strawberry, banana and mango and creative dry toppings such as ferrero rochers chocolates,butter waffles, cone flakes, baked almond slice and granola. there are also chocolate and caramel syrup if prefer more sweeter taste. i love the summer cone cause it has no toppings and its on a delicious cone. i liked it plain because, i love the original vanilla bean taste. Last but not least, it is a healthy treat that everyone can enjoy because it has less sugar which makes it less sweet. overall, karamell almondo ice cream is my favourite food which is a healthy treat with an affortable price.

the common mistakes that i always do in writing is that i cannot find a better transition and i often forgot to include prove to each of my points. sometimes i often forget to watch my tense whether its past or present. i find writing in english is a bit difficult as i thought cause you have to watch all the little details  and the correct way to write. when i start writing, i often repeat the things that i have already stated(repetition) and sometimes i cannot find a suitable words for me to elaborate my writings. my suggestion to overcome my problem is try to write more with the correct writing order and read more books for my reference.

   love is not only a passion show by a person to their companion. it is something that are shared by a person to another and even to a non- living things such as nature.love can consist on many forms, whether its love to a friend or just love to families.
    to me,love comes in many form of shapes, size and how deep it is. since i love nature so much, its also can be categorize as a passion to all the living things and what god has created for the human beings to admired and to show the beauty that lies beneath it.

as we all know, violence has been adapt on some of our country's population. there are many types of violence that we hear today.there are violance towards woman and children, which is the abuse of the rights of the woman or children. many children nowadays have been captured and tormented with many things that we can imagine while woman in the other hand have been through violence from their husband. rape is the main violence towards woman which still today will be the head news for many local paper and even nation wide.there are also violence towards animals which is killing for greed and killing for fun. killing  and do violence towards animal is an inhumanity act which will only do no good. i suggesting that the violance of woman and children, and  violance towards animals should be stop imediately. i suggest that the force should be more aware and parents should take care of their children more carefully. as for the violence towards animals,banned unauthorised hunting and build more anti-animal killing association so that animals could be save from being abuse.

i think we have already have been living in a unity of 1 malaysia.but still, there are a few citizens are not aware of the nation motto. there still a dispute amongs the citizens. people debate on a matter that can be solve, other nationality blames or critics on others, and nation parties compete and blaming on each others for powers  or injustice act. people on the streets nowadays even dont respect on each others and often bringing up nationality, status and even religion as a matter to start a fight. our country have been labeled as a peacefull and free will country. things such as disputing others can corrupt this image and if this doesn't end soon, malaysian country will be as the same as other foreign country.

the film "the persuit of happyness" personally tells a story about a family man; Chris Gardner played by will smith who tries to achieve the happyness that he sees through the faces of the people who has a running carrier. chris gardner ,his wife linda, and their son christopher are livingon the edge of financial disaster.she work two shifts ,while he spends  his days trying to sell the not-quite-revolutionary medical equipment that they'd invested their life savings in. one bright day, chris is strolling the streets of the Financial District,medical equipment in hand,when he gets the fateful idea to apply for an internship at the Dean Witter stock brokerage firm.after that chris suffers further setbacks when linda leaves him and christopher,taking with her the family's only regular paycheck.they've gone through a harsh time,chris bank account is emptied because of the government tax and being expel from their motel room.The Gardne's homelessness makes it quite  harder for chris to face the challenges of his internship.during the last few weeks of the internship,chris finally has a stroke of luck when he manage to repair and sell his remaining piece of medical equipment, and he and his son stya in a long-term motel.after going through a very harsh time chris finally land the coveted Dean Witter job at the end of the internship and finally got to change the life of his and his son when he stroke an multi-million share.

what i've learned in this movie is that eventhough times just get harsh on you, giving up is not the choice to take.sooner, success will come to your way eventually.

i'm not sure what i will do but from the spirit i saw in chris himself, i would try to achieve it just as chris did.

the reason why i love this song and choose this song to be as my favorite is because its has a very meaningful and has a sentimental value of its own. from the first verse, it explain that she has a doubt on the relationship but when time past, all the doubt just fades away and she was convinced that the love that she experience is a true one. in this song, she explain that no matter what it takes or what the obstacle is, he will always remains in her heart and the man should not have any doubt and hesitate on the relationship because of the promise she gave which is to remain as his and to kept him forever in her heart. this song is song is actually really meant to me cause this is my true feelings to my special love one. and i hope through this music he will know and doesn't hasitate or have any doubt on the love that i gave and how long will it remain.

Amelia Earhart

I have many idol but i choose Amelia Earhart because she is my adventurous idol. i love herbravery and her adventurous heart to be the first woman to fly across the Atlantic ocean. on early age she is seen as a bit boyish characteristic because of her interest on keeping worms, moth and tree toad.quite differ than other little girl on her age. after that, amelia grown into a tall, beautiful, young woman that has a high dreams on to be the first woman to be able to fly across the atlantic ocean. amelia and her navigator fred noonan departed from miami on 1st june 1937 and her last transmission was received on july 2 on 20:14 which is 8:14 pm. although untill now there are no precise evidence on what had happen to amelia and her navigator, amelia's name are continually to be known. her shyly charismatic appeal, independence, persistence, coolness under pressure and goal-oriented carrier along with the circumstances of her dissapearance at young age have driven her lasting fame in popular culture.

i don't have much problem on speaking english but i do have a few difficulties.my difficulties on speaking english is that sometimes i hesitate to speak a certain word because i'm afraid that i might used the wrong ones on a sentence. on the old times till now i have problems on speaking english directly to people. i am just afraid that the other person will say that i'm only showing off. i heard once that a person said such things about me and that makes me lack of confidence on speaking english directly to other person. i can speak directly to my family since my mother is an english teacher. so the way i am going to improve my proficiency on speaking english is to read more books in english and refer to the dictionary often when i hesitate on a certain word.
