CAST AWAY
SYNOPSIS
The movie was about a man who got stranded because the
fed-ex plane that they were on had a turbulence and crashed down to the pacific
ocean. john survived the crash and hold on to the raft until he was wash by the
wave to the nearest island. When he woke up, he watched around him and start to
pick up the fed-ex boxes that was wash by the wave to the shore. He start to
call for help but no one anwer. He even wrote a HELP sign on the shore so that
anyone who is near the island might saw it, but sadly it was washed away by the
tides. He manage to open the coconut with a piece of sharp edge rock that he gotten when smashing a a block of
rock to another. He wasn’t able to drink
the sea water because it was too salty. Then he started walk around the island
and discover a well hidden cave from the other side of the island. When he
reach the top of the hill, he saw a body that was brought by the wave near a
huge block of rock. Its was one of the pilot and he was dead. John buried him
and took a flashlight and the shoe from
the dead man’s body and buried him and wrote him an epitaph. He try the shoe
but it was a little bit tight but he cut the front of the shoe. The next day,
he try to escaped the island with the raft that save him but the huge tide
pushed him back. When he was washed again and again by the wave, his right leg got hit on the sharp rock
beneath the ocean and he was injured badly. He start to open all the fed-ex box except for the ones that
has angel wings on it. He discover a Wilson ball, tapes, a dress and even a
skate. He save all the item for future use. Then he carved a face to the ball
and make the ball his companion to talk. After that he start to make fire but
at first he got injured badly but for the second time he manage to make fire
and was very happy. After that he sleep in the cave that he discovered earlier.
4 years later, he was very skilful on catching fish and on other things. He
start to make raft and head off to the ocean and he manage to go through the
wave. After a few days on the rough ocean, a container ship was passing by and
he was saved. When he got back, he was celebrated by the people and soon he
search for his lover but he found out that she was married and had 1 kid. He
went to see her at her home and she was happy to see him. She told him that she
had search him and she had gave up. But at last he forgive him and he went
back. the day that he want to send the package that had saved his life, there
was no one there but at the end he found the owner of the place but he didn’t
notice at first. He suddenly saw the logo on the truck and he knew that was the
owner. He walk to the centre of the road and think for awhile, that’s when he
know what path he suppose to took. So the moral of the story is that when we
still had our life or given a second chance, took the road that you can benefit
till the end.
