ØSIMPLE SENTENCE STRUCTURE
SIMPLE SENTENCE CONSIST OF ONLY ONE CLAUSE
EXAMPLE OF SENTENCES:
-          - - - ALI PLAYS CRICKET
-         - - -  MARY  LEARN ENGLISH

ØCOMPOUND SENTENCES STRUCTURE
COMPOUND SENTENCE CONSIST OF TWO OR MORE INDEPENDENT CLAUSE JOINT BY COORDINATING CONJUCTION SUCH AS ,”AND”, “BUT” AND “OR”
EXAMPLE OF SENTENCES:
-          - - -LARRY WANTS TO PLAY, BUT HE STILL GOT HOMEWORK TO DO.
-          - - -CLARA CAN COOK; MOREOVER, SHE CAN PLAY THE PIANO.

ØCOMPLEX SENTENCES STRUCTURE
COMPLEX SENTENCE CONTAINS ONE INDEPENDANT CLAUSE AND AT LEAST ONE DEPENDANT CLAUSE.
EXAMPLE OF SENTENCES:
-          - - -ALTHOUGH MARY ANN WANTS TO GO OUTSIDE, IT’S STILL RAINNING.
-         - - - ALTHOUGH HE WANTS TO PLAY BASEBALL, HE WANTS TO PLAY SOCCER TOO.

ØCOMPOUND-COMPLEX SENTENCES
COMPOUND - COMPLEX SENTENCE IS MADE FROM TWO INDEPENDENT CLAUSES AND ONE OR MORE DEPENDENT CLAUSES.
EXAMPLE OF SENTENCES:
-         - - - ALTHOUGH I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION, I STRUGGLE TO ANSWER. I HAVE A REALLY HARD TIME TO DO IT.
-          - - -BEN HAD A REALLY TOUGH DECISION TO MAKE. ONLY ONE MOVIE TIKET LEFT; MOREOVER, HE HAS TO PICK LARA OR HENRY.
